LAND 8710 is the Australian Army’s Littoral Manoeuvre Vessels program and is a modernisation effort to acquire a medium landing craft and an amphibious vessel that supports regional ‘shore-to-shore manoeuvre’ and ‘over-the-shore mobility’ capabilities.

The Project

Calytrix is playing a pivotal role in supporting the LAND 8710 project, designing and developing training simulator equipment, materials and training systems integration.

LAND 8710 is the Australian Army’s Littoral Manoeuvre Vessels program and is a modernisation effort to acquire a medium landing craft and an amphibious vessel that supports regional ‘shore-to-shore manoeuvre’ and ‘over-the-shore mobility’ capabilities.

The first phase of Land 8710 will see the delivery of up to 18 Landing Craft Mediums (LC-M) with the first vessel expected in late 2026, supported by Calytrix.
