LVC Game 3.8: New Filters and Prepar3D Support

Calytrix Technologies is pleased to announce the release of version 3.8 of its LVC Game software. LVC Game provides bidirectional DIS/HLA connectivity to a number of third-party systems including VBS2, Steal Beasts, Havok Vision Engine, X-Plane, Genesis RTX and Prepar3D (CryEngine integration under development).

New Filtering Options

LVC Game version 3.8 delivers a number of new filtering options to help manage the growing data flow between constructive environments and serious games. This new filtering is particularly important as environments like VBS2 start to deliver advanced terrain streaming capabilities. The new filtering options in 3.8 include:

  • Filtering by multiple geographic regions, which may be circular or rectangular
  • Filtering by multiple entity types, allowing multiple type enumerations with wildcard characters

These new filtering options can be used to constrain the simulation traffic that is passed to a serious games environments and in the process significantly reducing their computational load.

LVC Game for Prepar3D

LVC Game is now available for Lockheed-Martin's Prepar3D™ simulation software, enabling Prepar3D to connect with external DIS/HLA-based systems.  Prepar3D can now be used with live, virtual, constructive and other gaming systems, including OneSAF, JSAF and others.

Prepar3D (pronounced “prepared”) is a visual simulation platform that allows users to create training scenarios across aviation, maritime and ground domains. Users can train anywhere in the virtual world, from underwater to sub orbital space.

Prepar3D furthers the development of Microsoft® ESP™ while maintaining compatibility with Microsoft Flight Simulator X, allowing many thousands of add-ons to be used within Prepar3D.

LVC Game version 3.8 will be available for general download on May 28th. For more information please contact .
