New Product Integration On Display at I/ITSEC 2010

Dayton, OH. USA, November 24, 2010 – Calytrix Technologies and Trinigy announce the integration of Trinigy’s 3D game engine, Vision, with Calytrix’s LVC Game, giving Vision a new capability for distributed simulation using DIS and HLA networking. Both technologies are integrated to operate together but each product will still be licensed separately.

The Vision Game Engine by Trinigy is one of the world´s most advanced technologies for professional serious game development. Proven in more than 150 commercial games and simulations, across a wide range of applications, the advanced and versatile Vision Game Engine empowers developers to create cutting-edge simulations using the latest in 3D rendering technology.

Through its Software Developers Kit (SDK), Calytrix LVC Game connects serious games and training systems into standardized DIS and HLA simulation networks. LVC Game provides a bidirectional DIS/HLA gateway to “Serious Games” products, allowing their application for “Serious Training” in conjuction with existing defense environments including OneSAF and JCATS.

Shawn Parr, Calytrix’s CEO, commented, “Having Vision integrated with LVC Game further extends the growing trend of using highly realistic commercial game engines for heavy-duty military training. LVC Game’s SDK powers that connection.”

Danie Conradie, President/CEO of Trinigy, says, "Interoperability between the Vision Engine and DIS/HLA is something our growing serious games audience has been requesting and that will give them the functionality they need for seamless network connection with existing defense environments."
