Lieutenant General Hurley Thanks Calytrix for JCTC/TS07

Lieutenant General Hurley, head of Capability Development Executive (CDE), personally thanked Calytrix Technologies (Australia) for its role in the successful delivery of the Joint Combined Training Capability (JCTC) and its demonstration during Talisman Sabre 2007 (TS'07).

Calytrix played a leading role in the development of the Initial Operating Capability of the JCTC and the delivery of TS'07 through the provision of systems integration, synthetic backbone development and event surge support. At its peak Calytrix had over 40 personnel deployed in support of the programme.

Lieutenant General Hurley said "The efforts of the Calytrix Technologies personnel at all levels of the JCTC structure have been instrumental in the delivery of the Simulation and Support components of the JCTC."

Lieutenant General Hurley went on to say that "The Performance Monitoring and After Action Review tool Calytrix Mentor that was developed by Calytrix Technologies was well received during the exercise. The support that was provided by your Training Systems division for this tool was appreciated and provided the Commonwealth with an excellent product for developing our capabilities through improved and meaningful feedback."

Steve Salmon, Training Systems Principal, said, "It was very exciting for Calytrix to be so involved in the provision of the JCTC proof of concept. While deploying 40 people into locations like the Shoalwater Bay Training Area had its challenges it proved that we can provide highly skilled technicians and operators to support complex activities in the demanding locations required by the ADF".

Calytrix looks forward to continuing its support to the JCTC as it develops into a fully functioning ADF capability.
