Calytrix Joins the JWFC Team

Calytrix Technologies (Australia) was selected by Northrop Grumman Mission Systems (Norfolk, Virginia) as a Technology Partner on its recently successful Joint Warfare Centre (JWFC) re-bid, which was announced by U.S. Joint Forces Command on September 5th. Under this contract Northrop Grumman and its partners will continue to provide technology support to JWFC in Suffolk, Virginia. The initial two-year US$218 million contract awarded has a potential value of US$686 million over six years, if all options are exercised.

Building on Calytrix’s experience from ongoing activities with the Australian Joint Combined Training Centre (JCTC) and New Zealand Defence, Calytrix will be delivering a range of subject matter expertise and technology to Northrop Grumman in support of the JWFC, including positioning full-time staff in the Virginia area.

Shawn Parr, Calytrix Managing Director, stated that "as an Australian company it is a great opportunity for Calytrix to extend its growing knowledge of joint training and we are very much looking forward to working with Northrop Grumman at the coal-face of US joint training." </section> </article>
