Mentoring JCTC

Calytrix Mentor™ has been selected as the performance management and After Action Review (AAR) system for the Australian Defence Force (ADF) Joint Combined Training Capability (JCTC).

Originally designed for the Royal Australian Navy (RAN), Mentor is a performance assessment tool for developing and managing individual and team/collective training exercises; recording training results; and generating reports. Uniquely, Mentor’s approach to knowledge management supports the training life cycle, from planning through to execution and reporting, in a standardised and repeatable manner.

Mentor will deliver to the JCTC a complete on-line training management system; enabling coalition partners to collaborate in the planning process on-line, view real-time assessment reports from the field via wireless Tablets and PDAs, and providing rapid performance and readiness assessments to all exercise and/or training participants.

Shawn Parr, Calytrix Managing Director said: “The Company is excited to be delivering one of the key components of the JCTC infrastructure as it continues to work closely with its Australian and US partners to assist the ADF to realise its vision to create a state-of-the-art training facility”.
