The first version of Calytrix SIMplicity was launched at the SimTecT conference in Melbourne on May 13th, 2002.

The response was tremendous with a steady stream of people coming to the booth for demonstrations. There was a great deal of interest in the visual modelling capabilities and the ease with which we could build an HLA simulation quickly. The centralised deployment and execution management functionality was also popular.

As well as launching the product, Rob Whitney also presented a paper entitled "The Application of Tools Support in HLA". The next event we will be attending is the I/ITSEC conference in Orlando in December.
