Technical Support Engineer (Canberra) - Immediate Start
Calytrix Technologies is a Perth-based Training and Simulation company that specialises in the delivery of software, systems and services to the Australian and international defence community. Our simulation services include the integration of tactical 3D games, the development of simulation frameworks and military training exercise support.Based in Canberra, you will be responsible for the day to day running of our developing training facility and simulation lab. In addition, you will be working with our team of experienced software developers to support the design, build and deliver of simulation and training systems. The job will require national and international travel to work directly with our customers. Sales and Support Engineer (Canberra) - Immediate Start
Calytrix Technologies is a Perth-based software engineering company providing simulation and training software and services to the Australian and international defence community.We are looking for a Sales and Support Engineer to join our growing Canberra team. In this role you will work closely with both our engineering and business teams to develop, modify and support Calytrix Mentor, a web/python based training framework used by the Australian Defence Force. The job will require national and international travel to work directly with our customers, as well as to support military training events.
This is an exciting and unique opportunity that offers an interesting blend of support, sales and engineering challenges to the right candidate.
The successful candidate will:
- Be an effective communicator with both colleagues and customers
- Problem solver
- Have 3-5 years experience
- Thrive on new challenges
- Knowledge of web and Python development
- Understanding of both the Windows and Linux operating systems
- Django or similar web development framework/language
- SQL databases (especially PostgreSQL)
- User interface design using CSS and Javascript
