NUSHIP BALLARAT Training
Phase II Mentor trials were conducted from the 24th May to the 3rd June 2004 at the Maritime Warfare Training Center (MWTC) at HMAS Watson in Sydney, Australia. The trials involved the crew of the NUSHIP BALLARAT. Unlike CReaMS which focused on coalition training, BALLARAT trials focused on single ship, single crew training.

The Directorate of Analysis, Experimentation and Simulation (DAES) in the United Kingdom Ministry of Defence has purchased a Calytrix SIMplicity™licence and is evaluating how the Model Driven Architecture approach to simulation development - pioneered by Calytrix – can improve productivity whilst reducing time and cost.

Perth, Western Australia, April 2 2004. The Directorate of Analysis, Experimentation and Simulation (DAES) in the United Kingdom Ministry of Defence has an ongoing programme to enhance the contribution of simulation to equipment acquisition.
