Calytrix Secures ADFWC Project
Calytrix Technologies (Australia) has been announced as the successful bidder on the re-development of the Australian Defence Force Warfare Centre's (ADFWC) JSAFReports system. The JSAFReports system generates Australian Defence Message Text Format (ASMTF) reports from the Joint Semi Automated Forces (JSAF) Simulation system. The message format is standardised to facilitate the exchange of information between Command and Control (C2) systems and Command Support Systems (CSS) within the Australian Defence Force (ADF) and allied forces.
Uniquely, Calytrix bid a new approach to the project that will move JSAFReports from a conventional stand-alone application to a completely distributed web-based system utilizing state-of-the-art Web 2.0 technology.
This approach will allow any number of authorised users to simultaneously access all C2 reports within a training exercise, regardless of their geographic location.
