Calytrix .. a "Company To Watch"

In Atlanta in February 2009, Calytrix Technologies presented its training and simulation products at the Training 2009 Conference. Attendees viewed VBS2-based 3D "virtual worlds" for interactive training along with Calytrix' Mentor software for planning and conduct of training exercises with automated performance assessments. Attendees discussed how these products might apply to their unique training environments and diverse applications, such as training for first responders (homeland security related training), medical groups, and even insurance adjusters.

In his "Serious Games and Simulation Showcase" presentation in the Learning Trends Lab at the Training 2009 Conference, the conference's "Games and Simulation Guru", Dr. David Metcalf, a researcher at the University of Central Florida, described Calytrix as a "Company to Watch" in the rapidly growing area of serious games for training.
