SONAR Development for DSTO/RAN

Calytrix Technologies (Australia) has been awarded a contract to develop two SONAR concept demonstrators for the Defence Science and Technology Organisation (DSTO) and Royal Australian Navy (RAN) under the Generic Open Architecture for New Naval Applications (GOANNA) project.

A key goal of the GOANNA program is to make it possible for a diverse range of organisations to demonstrate potential submarine combat system capability enhancements in both a land based test site environment and at sea on a Collins Class submarine. Under this contract Calytrix in collaboration with DSTO scientist will be developing a sonar health diagnostic tool and a sonar intercept application.
