Supporting Australian Simulation

Calytrix Technologies (Australia) is pleased to announce that it has been successful in securing both the Joint Semi-Automated Forces (JSAF) and the Defence Synthetic Environment (DSE) support contracts through the Australian Defence Simulation Office (ADSO). Each contract runs for a potential 3 years and will provide ADSO and the broader ADO with sustained support and development of key simulation systems.

Shawn Parr, Managing Director of Calytrix Technologies, said, "In concert with ADSO, these two contracts represent the foundation for developing and maintaining a solid and extendable foundation (standards and tools) for Australian simulation activities, thus providing an essential platform for interoperability and reuse".

JSAF & DSE Background

The DSE provides a framework and suite of products to provide simulation support to exercises, experiments and other defence activities. The DSE is comprised of five principal service layers:

Together, these service layers form a flexible and powerful environment that can be used in a multitude of ways to provide simulation support to live exercises, perform experimental analysis and support the capability life-cycle.
