Calytrix is seeking a mid-level dynamic Network Engineer to join our team. Based in Canberra, you will be working closely with our team of technical and simulation engineers in the ADF’s Joint Combined Training Capability (JCTC). This cutting edge organisation is responsible for enhancing ADF force preparedness and bilateral high-end training by supporting Mission Rehearsal Exercises (MREs) and major joint and combined exercises through the development and delivery of instrumented Live, Virtual and Constructive (LVC) training effects delivered through an extensive but developing network.
You will be part of our experienced network team and will be responsible for developing, rolling out and maintaining network services in support of major Defence training activities. The position offers exposure to a range of cutting edge simulation and training support systems and the ideal candidate will need to be able to demonstrate an ability to work without close technical supervision.

Based in Canberra, you will be working closely with our team of network and simulation engineers in the ADF’s Joint Combined Training Capability (JCTC). This cutting edge organisation is responsible for enhancing ADF force preparedness and bilateral high-end training by supporting Mission Rehearsal Exercises (MREs) and major joint and combined exercises through the development and delivery of instrumented Live, Virtual and Constructive (LVC) training effects delivered through an extensive network and supported by numerous MIS systems.
You will be part of our experienced MIS team and will be responsible for implementing, integrating, supporting and delivering hardware, and software solutions within the Defence Training and Experimentation Network (DTEN) environment, or while deployed to field locations. The position offers exposure to a range of cutting edge simulation and training support systems and the ideal candidate will need to be able to demonstrate an ability to work without close technical supervision.
